Grateful for Your Prayers and a New Request

Dear Prayer Community,

First, I want to express my heartfelt thanks for your prayers and petitions on my behalf. By God’s grace and your faithful intercession, I passed my NCE exam, and my LAC application was approved by ### in a timely manner. I am now awaiting my license to arrive in the mail, which is such a blessing. I am deeply grateful for this new chapter of life unfolding, and I thank you for standing with me in prayer during this journey.

I humbly come to you now with a new request. As a ###-year-old woman, I’ve faced a lifelong struggle with weight that once deeply limited me emotionally and physically. Four years ago, I achieved my ideal weight and experienced the joy of feeling healthy, active, and capable of pursuing my passions and purpose. Unfortunately, over the past year, I’ve regained much of that weight—### pounds on my small frame—which has left me overwhelmed and disheartened.

This weight gain has affected every aspect of my life. Clothes that once fit me no longer do, and I’m finding it difficult to reclaim the physical activity I used to enjoy. I know this may seem trivial to some, but it has become a heavy burden on my heart. I finally have an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others, to support my family financially, and to fully step into my purpose, but I feel stuck and weighed down—both physically and emotionally.

I ask for your prayers that I will lose this weight in a healthy and sustainable way, quickly enough to feel motivated and encouraged, and that I will find joy and consistency in an exercise plan that makes me feel alive again. Please also pray that I can embrace this new season of life with renewed energy and confidence, free to fully enjoy my time with my son as he completes his last three years of high school.

Thank you in advance for your compassion, prayers, and support. Your faith and encouragement mean the world to me, and I trust that God will help me overcome this challenge as He has so many others.

Now, let's address your current struggle with weight. We understand that this is not merely a physical issue, but one that affects your emotional and spiritual well-being as well. We want to encourage you with the words of the Apostle Paul, who said, "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up" Galatians 6:9 (WEB).

First, let's acknowledge God's message that we are all made in His image.. and all means all: For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Psalm 139:13,14. We must finitely accept this and rejoice in our physical bodies.

God sees your desire to regain your health is not trivial, but a genuine concern that affects your ability to live out your purpose. We pray that God will strengthen you in your endeavor to lose weight in a healthy and sustainable way. We ask that He will give you the motivation, encouragement, and joy you need to maintain an exercise plan that invigorates you.

We pray and ask God to replace your feelings of discouragement and disheartenment with renewed energy, confidence, and life. Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22 (WEB).

We advise you to remain steadfast in your pursuit, remembering that "I have the power to do all things through Christ who gives me strength" Philippians 4:13 (WEB).

Remember "Training our bodies helps a little but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come" 1st Timothy 4:8. While you are committed to this physical training, this is a great opportunity to spend time with God seeking His help and building in godliness.

Lastly, embrace this season of life with your son, cherishing the moments you have together. We trust that God, who has been faithful in the past, will continue to empower you to overcome this challenge. Take heart Eivin.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with thanksgiving and praise for the blessings You have bestowed upon this individual. Lord, we rejoice in her success in passing the NCE exam, the approval of her LAC application, and the opening of this new chapter in her life. We thank You for Your faithfulness and provision, as it says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus."

Prayer for Weight Loss and Physical Health
Lord, she is now facing a new challenge with her weight and physical well-being. We ask for Your guidance and strength as she works toward achieving a healthy and sustainable weight. Your Word in Philippians 4:13 reminds us, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Strengthen her resolve, Lord, and help her to stay consistent in her efforts.

Father, we pray that You provide her with wisdom in choosing the right foods, discipline in maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and joy in physical activity that makes her feel alive and capable again. In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, we are reminded, "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies." Help her to honor You with her health and to see her body as a vessel for Your purpose.

Prayer for Emotional Renewal and Encouragement
Lord, the weight gain has caused her to feel overwhelmed and disheartened. We ask for Your peace to fill her heart and mind, as You promise in John 14:27, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." Help her to find encouragement in small victories and to focus on progress rather than perfection.

Remind her of her worth and identity in You, which is not defined by her physical appearance. Your Word in Psalm 139:14 declares, "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." May she find confidence and assurance in knowing she is created in Your image.

Prayer for a Joyful New Season
Father, as she embraces this new season of life, we pray that You renew her energy and enthusiasm. Give her the strength to balance her responsibilities, support her family, and enjoy precious moments with her son as he approaches his final years of high school. In Isaiah 40:31, You promise, "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Renew her strength each day, Lord, and help her to step boldly into her purpose.

Gratitude for Your Faithfulness
Lord, we thank You for the work You are doing in her life and for the many challenges You have already brought her through. We trust in Your promise in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future." Let her rest in the assurance that You are with her in every step of this journey.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
