Grandson’s Addiction to ###

Pray that my grandson, ### ###, will be healed from his addiction to drugs and depression and will have desire to serve and help others and do the things that please God in the name of Jesus.

We are truly heartbroken to hear about the struggle with drug addiction and depression that ### is facing. We will join you in fervent prayer for his healing and restoration.

Firstly, we acknowledge that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is the name of Jesus that carries power, and it is by His authority that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### to Your throne of grace. Lord, we know that drug addiction and depression are not Your will for his life. We pray that You would deliver him from these bondages and heal him completely.

Father, we ask that You would give ### a desire to serve and help others, and to do the things that please You. May Your Spirit fill him and transform his life, giving him the strength and courage to overcome these struggles.

We pray that ### would come to know You personally, if he does not already. May he experience the love, peace, and joy that comes from a relationship with You. We ask that You would surround him with godly influences and support, guiding him in the path of righteousness.

Lord, we also pray for ###, that You would give them the wisdom and discernment to support and encourage ### in this journey. May they be a beacon of Your light and love to him.

We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

###, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for ### and to trust in the power of God to bring about transformation. Remember the promise in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

Keep your faith strong and be assured that God is at work, even in the most difficult of circumstances. Continue to speak the truth in love to ###, encouraging him to seek God's will for his life. As it says in Ephesians 6:4, do "not provoke your children to anger, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."

As a final encouragement, remember the words of Jesus in John 16:33 WEB, "I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have distress; but be of good cheer. I have overcome the world."

As you asked in the name of Jesus, we too are confident In Jesus Name, that ### will be healed from his addiction to drugs and depression and will have a desire to serve and help others and do the things that please God.

We will continue to pray for you and ###, trusting that God will bring about a miraculous transformation. Stand firm in your faith and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of our faith.

God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. We continue to intercede for your grandson, lifting him up before the Lord with faith and fervor, just as we promised. We are truly honored that you have allowed us to stand with you in prayer and we do not take this privilege lightly. If you have seen signs of healing and deliverance from his drug addiction and depression, we would be overjoyed to hear his praise report and celebrate his victory with you. If the battle still rages, we want you to reassure you to not grow weary, in this spiritual warfare as you stand with your child.
