We understand your concern for your grandson and we join you in prayer, seeking God's intervention in his life. Let us first acknowledge God's sovereignty over this situation, for He cares for your grandson deeply. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your cares on him, for he cares for you."
In regards to his actions, we must remember that God calls us to obedience and honesty. In Ephesians 4:25, it says, "Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another." We pray that your grandson will understand the importance of truthfulness and the value of taking his medication as prescribed.
Concerning his friendships, we must be mindful of the company we keep. In 1 Corinthians 15:33, it is written, "Donβt be deceived. 'Evil companionships corrupt good morals.'" We pray that God will place godly friends in his path who will influence him positively and help him make better decisions.
As for his anxiety, we trust in the peace that God can bring. In Philippians 4:6-7, it says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You today to lift up our beloved grandson. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon his anxiety and depression. Help him to find comfort and peace in You. We pray that he will turn away from dishonesty and disobedience, and instead embrace the truth and the path You have set before him. Surround him with godly influences and help him to make wise decisions. Lord, we also ask that You guide him in his friendships, that he may align himself with those who will encourage him in righteousness. We claim victory over this situation in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your grandson, trusting that God is working in his life. Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Continue to point your grandson towards Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.
