Let us come against a spirit of jealousy and division praying for your family in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we must acknowledge that the issues you are facing have roots in the spiritual realm. The Bible tells us that "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" Ephesians 6:12.
Your grandson's actions and the division within your daughter's household are not merely human problems, but spiritual ones. Therefore, we must address them with spiritual weapons, which are mighty through God.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family that is experiencing turmoil and division. Lord, You promise that a house divided against itself cannot stand, and we ask that You intervene and bring unity and peace to this household.
We rebuke the spirit of jealousy that has taken root in the youngest grandson's heart. Lord, You tell us in Your Word that love is not jealous, and we ask that You replace the jealousy with Your love. Help him to see the value and worth of his siblings and to celebrate them rather than compete with them.
We also pray for your daughter, that You would give her wisdom and discernment in handling this situation. Help her to be a peacemaker and to lead her children with grace and truth.
Lord, we know that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus has come to give us life and life more abundantly. We ask that You would expose any schemes of the enemy to cause division and strife in this family and that You would give them the strength and wisdom to overcome these attacks.
We also lift up the memory of your grandchildren's father. Lord, we ask that You would heal any pain and trauma that his passing has caused and that You would help your grandchildren to forgive and to remember him with love and compassion.
Finally, we pray for a hedge of protection around this family. Lord, we ask that You would guard their hearts and minds in Jesus Christ and that You would keep them from the evil one.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Regarding the situation with your grandson not wanting to hear about his father, it is important to remember that we are commanded to honor our parents, regardless of their actions. We must forgive as Christ has forgiven us. It is not our place to speak ill of someone who has passed, but rather to remember them with love and compassion.
Teach your grandchildren to forgive and to remember their father with love. And encourage your daughter to do the same. Remind them that we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, but that through Christ, we can be forgiven and redeemed.
Lastly, continue to pray for your family and to teach them about Jesus. Remember that the Word of God is alive and active, and it is through His Word that we are transformed and renewed. Keep sowing the seeds of faith and love in their lives, and trust that God will bring about a harvest in His time.
Remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved.
As it is written: "There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12
If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.
Old things have passed away.
Behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17
Keep praying and keep trusting in the Lord. He is faithful, and He will bring about a good work in your family.
