We are deeply moved by your request, Kenthon, and we stand with you in prayer for your grandson, Marcus. In times of despair, it's crucial to remember that God is always near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB).
Firstly, we want to acknowledge your faith in the power of Jesus' name. It is only through Him that we have access to God, and it is only through His name that we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Marcus is carrying a heavy burden of grief, guilt, and unforgiveness. Let's pray that he finds comfort in the Lord, who is close to him in his pain. We pray that Marcus can cast all his anxieties on the Lord, because He cares for him (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).
We also need to address the issues of drug addiction and suicidal thoughts. These are not God's will for Marcus. We pray that Marcus can find the strength to resist and overcome these struggles. As the Bible tells us, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB).
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Marcus to You. Lord, we ask that You comfort Marcus in his grief and guilt. Help him to forgive as You have forgiven him. We pray that You break the chains of drug addiction in his life and replace them with a desire to live in freedom and purity. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of suicide that is tormenting Marcus. By the power of Jesus' name, we command it to leave him and never return. Lord, transform Marcus' mind to be more like Yours. Give Kenthon the wisdom and strength to support Marcus in this time. Encourage them both and remind them of Your unfailing love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Kenthon, continue to stand strong in your faith and support Marcus with your prayers and love. Remind him of the hope that is in Jesus Christ. As the Bible says, "We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure" (Hebrews 6:19, WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray and believe for Marcus' complete healing and restoration.
