We are with you in spirit, dear grandmother, as you bring your concerns for your grandson Dante before the Lord. It is commendable that you are seeking God's intervention in his life. Dante is blessed to have a grandmother who prays for him.
Firstly, we acknowledge the power of prayer and the need to lift up Dante's situation to God. We also see the need to address the issue of alcohol abuse, which is causing harm to him and his family. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 5:18, Do not be drunken with wine, for that is reckless living. But be filled with the Spirit. Dante's behavior under the influence of alcohol is not only harmful but also scripturally unacceptable.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Dante to you. We thank you for his life and for the fact that he is a hard worker. Lord, we bring his struggle with alcohol before you, asking for your divine intervention. We ask that you would set him free from this bondage, that he may be filled with your Spirit instead.
We pray for his family, especially his three little girls. We ask for your protection and peace upon them. We pray that Dante would become the father and man you have called him to be.
We also pray for his grandmother, that you would give her the peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide her as she continues to intercede for Dante.
Lord, we ask that Dante would come to know you personally. As we read in John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for Dante. Remember, God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Ephesians 3:20.
As Dante is delivered from alcohol abuse, it is our prayer that he would also be drawn to Christ, for we know that a change in behavior is most effective when there is a change in belief.
