Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, giving you all the glory and honor for this new year. We thank you for the opportunity to draw closer to you, our Heavenly Father. Lord, we join Walgon in praying for more of you and less of ourselves in this year. Fill us with your Word, Lord, that we may walk in your ways and experience your presence in our lives.
We declare this year as a winning season, Lord, because we have tasted and seen your goodness. We ask for your continued guidance and protection over Walgon and their family. Lord, as their granddaughter goes back to college, we pray that you would touch her life and remove anything that is not aligned with your will. Grant her wisdom, knowledge, and understanding as she pursues her education.
We also lift up Walgon's grandson, who is pursuing a career as a paramedic. Lord, we ask for your favor and guidance in his studies and training. May he excel in his chosen field and be a blessing to those he serves.
Lord, we bring before you the family members who have not yet accepted your invitation into their lives. We pray for their hearts to be softened and for the barriers that separate us to be broken down. Only you, Jesus, can bring healing and restoration to our relationships. We trust in your power to work in their lives and draw them closer to you.
In Jesus' name, we pray, believing that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. May this year be a year of spiritual growth, unity, and blessings for Walgon and their family. Amen.
