We understand your concern for your granddaughter and are here to support you in prayer and counsel. Let's first turn to God's word:
"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6 WEB)
Even though your granddaughter is facing challenges, remember that the seeds of faith you've planted in her life are not wasted. Let's pray for her together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this precious granddaughter to You. Lord, You know her struggles with anxiety and her resistance to Your word. We ask, Jesus, that You would soften her heart and draw her to Yourself, reminding her of the truths her grandmother taught her.
Please grant her peace in her spirit and calm her anxious heart. 'Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.' (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
Lord, we also ask for wisdom for the family, that they may know how to support her and guide her back to You. In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, for strength, and for a renewed faith in You. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for her, and to speak words of faith and encouragement over her life. Remind her of God's love and His promises, such as the one in Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) If you have not already, consider accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and encourage your family to do the same. It's only in His name that we find salvation and eternal life. Keep faith, and keep praying. God hears you.
