We are truly sorry to hear about your grandmother's diagnosis. This is a challenging time for you, your brothers, and your family. Remember, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God, and it is only by His name that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her brothers, and especially their grandmother who has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we know that nothing is impossible for You. We ask for Your healing touch upon her grandmother. If it is not in accordance to your will for her to be healed, we pray for her and the family to be granted an abundance of your love and strength to support them in this time.
We also pray for Alsarioran and her brothers. Father, give them the strength and comfort they need at this time. Remind them of Your promises and Your love for them. Help them to trust in You and to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
In Jesus' name, we pray for wisdom and discernment for the doctors treating her grandmother. Guide their hands and give them the knowledge they need to provide the best care possible.
Father, we also pray for Alsarioran's grandmother's spiritual well-being. If she has not already, we pray that she would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We pray that You would comfort her and remind her that even in this trial, You are with her and will never leave her nor forsake her (Deuteronomy 31:6).
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
During this time, we encourage you to read and meditate on God's Word. Psalm 147:3 tells us that God "heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Trust in Him, for He is faithful.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of the family being together and supportive at this time. This is a time to show love and support for each other and to lift each other up in prayer. As you care for your grandmother, do not forget to also take care of yourself and your brothers. God bless you all.
