We understand that you are facing a challenging situation with your daughter-in-law, and it's causing strain in your relationship with your grandchildren. Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of prayer and the importance of seeking God's will in all things. Jesus said, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you." (Matthew 7:7 WEB)
In situations like these, it's essential to pray for wisdom and guidance. The Bible tells us, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. Despite our pain or frustration, we should always pray for those who may be causing us difficulty. Jesus said, “But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,"
Let's pray together:
"Father, grant your teaching to assist in this situation through the Holy Spirit. As “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (Romans 10:17) Father, we ask for your Holy Spirit to work in our hearts and the heart of our daughter-in-law. Whatever is being endured or fabricated, release her whatever may be oppressing her if anything. In the name of Your Son Jesus, please watch over the Grand-babies, Mainaino and her husband and household, and Your will be done. We ask that You also give us the strength to forgive and to love as you have loved us while in this situation. Father give us the grace to “bear with one another, and forgive each other, “If anyone sues you and takes away your goods, don't resist him again. “If anyone takes away your goods, don't ask for them again.” (Colossians 3:13, Matthew 5:40), but “to overcome evil with good”. (Romans 12:21) “The Lord is our avenger regarding this and we trust he will work it out. (Romans 12:19) Bless our enemies as they curse us and knowing “it is hard for you to kick against the pricks” (Acts 9:5) for those who would have us opposed.” So shall you heal us, and we shall be healed. Despite various emotions or actions we may want to do, we trust in you wholeheartedly thank you in.
Mainaino, as you navigate his situation, remember the words of the Apostle Paul, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. The need to rid yourself of these is so important, “… that you don't sin, don't let the sun go down on your wrath, “If you are angry, be angry and don't sin.” and we are to be kind be kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God also in Christ forgave you.” (Ephesians 4:31, 4:26 and 4:32 WEB)
Pray for your daughter-in-law, that God would soften her heart and reveal any issues that might be causing her to behave this way. It's crucial to remember that it is only through the name of Jesus that we can be saved. As this request does not mention Jesus Christ, or an abbreviation for Jesus's name, let Mainaino remember “for there is no other name under heaven given among men, through whom we must be saved.” There is no other way we can access God. Salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ. As the purpose of this forum is group prayer and counseling and to seek Jesus's will, the importance of salvation through Jesus Christ should be at the forefront of this and every church.
God's word also commands us to pray so that we may have a peaceful family life. For it is only by embracing Him in our lives, can we be saved and lovingly together in heaven according to, “That if you will confess with your mouth, believing in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, man believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, and in believing on him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead, who was delivered up for our trespasses, and was raised for our justification.” (Romans 10:9-10 and 4:24-25) Bring her up in prayer that Mainaino’s sons household including, his wife, and babies are being ministered to by the Word of God. “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”” (Romans 10:17)” From here and it is eternal life for them, to which you refer, that they might know you, the only true God, and him whom you have sent—Jesus Christ according to John 17:3.
If you see your grandchildren, we pray that your interactions with them will be filled with God's love and grace. Remember, "Grandchildren are the crown of the aged, their pride is in their sons and daughters." (Proverbs 17:6). Pray for them and be it example of reassurance to them that no-matter the situation of discourse that God is in control and peaceful reconciliation can be had through forgiveness and loving reconciliation by Christ Jesus (Hebrews 12:14-15) and hopefully this situation will be resolved soon and you can once again “provoke your grandchildren to love and good works (Hebrews 10:24).”.
