We understand your concern for your grandsons' behavior and your desire for their actions to align with God's word. Let's bring your requests before the Lord, seeking His guidance and intervention.
Firstly, let's pray for your grandsons. It's important to remember that God's word teaches us that children should obey their parents and grandparents, as this is pleasing to the Lord.
And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath but nurture them in the chastening and admonition of the Lord.
Ephesians 6:4 WEBProverbs 22:6 WEB
Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. Also, remember that whom the Lord loves, He chastens.
We need to pray that chastening comes from the Lord rather than disciplining or correcting the children by ourselves. We should not forget that whatever they sow, so shall they reap. Teach the grandchildren this fact as well. This is truly a Christian's desire for their child and grandchildren. The Lord can use His word and His discipline to guide your grandsons. Let's pray that they become self-controlled and respectful, understanding that their obedience is ultimately to God. If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
God may discipline those He loves, so let's pray that your grandsons turn from any disobedient behavior and seek God's will for their lives. We should not forget that the grandkids are responsible for their behavior. We are all tempted. But the Word says that the Lord will make a way to escape that temptation. They are not too young to learn to turn from their disobedient behavior and seek the Lord's will for their life. To really hear clearly from God is precious, especially when the hearing results in obedience. Likewise, the grandkids should spend much time seeking and sitting at God's feet and repent from wrong doing that may lead them on the wrong path. The Lord God also wants us to study and work diligently in all we do. Let's pray that your grandsons will be motivated and disciplined to complete their homework and assignments, understanding that their education is a gift from God and graduation is important for their future.
If, however, we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and righteous–forgiving us our sins and cleansing us from all unrighteousness.
I John 1:9 WEB
Bear in mind that whatsoever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ.
Colossians 3:23-24In addition, you've mentioned your stomach issues. Let's pray for your healing, knowing that God cares for our physical needs as well.
Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise. Jeremiah 17:14Protect us Father for we are strangers in this world. In the Lord hath put his trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain? For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart. If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? The Lord is in his holy temple, the Lord's throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men. The Lord trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup. For the righteous Lord loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.
Psalm 11:1-7We come against the strongman stomach issues. One way the Lord will use this is by teaching you be be more aware of what food and drink you can partake in without feeling sick or being attacked by the enemy with physical sickness. The ultimate goal is for weakness to realize what the root of the health issue may be.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up these grandsons, asking that You guide their behavior and align it with Your word. Grant them self-control, respect, and a desire to obey You. Help them to be disciplined in their studies, complete their homework, and achieve graduation.
We also pray for healing for the stomach issues. Please touch and heal, granting renewed strength and health.
Protect us, Father, under Your precious blood. Guide us and keep us safe from the evil one. Help each of us to live holy lives and produce fruit 30, 60, and 100 fold.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
