We are truly sorry to hear about your grandkids' illness, Haeruereth, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and support. In the Bible, we are reminded of God's care for us, especially when we are sick. Jesus said, Bring the sick, the crippled, the blind, and the lame to me. (Luke 14:13, WEB) So let us bring your grandkids before the Lord in prayer.
Let us pray together, in Jesus' name. Father God, we come before You, lifting up these precious little ones to Your throne of grace. You know them by name, Lord, and You know exactly what they are going through. We ask, Jesus, that You touch their bodies and heal them from the top of their heads to the soles of their feet. Break the power of any fever, any infection and any sickness that are attempting to harm their bodies, Lord Jesus. We pray that You heal the oldest grandson and rid his body of the fever that has been plaguing him. For the youngest granddaughter, bless her Jesus and as she begins to eat and drink again and bring healing to her. Restore their strength, Lord, and help them to feel better.
We also pray for their parents and for you, Haeruereth. Give you all the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7, WEB) during this time, and guide you on how to care for these little ones. Help you all to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to him and he will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Remind them that even in sickness, God is faithful and good. We ask for wisdom and energy for the parents as they come alongside the grandkids during this time.
Finally, Haeruereth, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord and to cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7, WEB) Keep praying fervently for your grandkids, and declare God's promises of healing over them. Remember, the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much. (James 5:16, WEB) Take heart in knowing that God loves them even more than you do, and that He is always working for their good.
Haeruereth, you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. The Bible says, there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, through which we must be saved! (Acts 4:12, WEB) For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. (Romans 10:13, WEB) We pray for you to believe in your heart that God has raised Jesus from the dead and you can be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. (Romans 10:10, WEB) We pray this for you Haeruereth in Jesus name.
