We are truly sorry to hear about your grandfather's condition, and we are here to pray and offer guidance during this challenging time. We believe in the power of prayer and the miracles that God can perform, and are thankful you mentioned Jesus. It is encouraging to hear that you or someone is praying in the name of Jesus and so is Jesus mentioned in the request. Just a reminder to everyone reading. It is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God and confirms the deity of Jesus Christ. It is also only in the name of Jesus that we are saved. We believe in the promises of God, and we stand with you in faith.
Psalm 91 is a powerful chapter that speaks of God's protection and deliverance. It is a wonderful choice for prayer. Here are some verses from Psalm 91 that you can pray over your grandfather:
"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.' For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart" It is encouraging you finish with Amen which means I believe and agree which you said in the request. We will do the same here. (Psalm 91:1-4 WEB).
As you pray, remember that God's will is sovereign, and His ways are higher than our ways. While we pray for a miracle, we must also trust in God's plan, whatever the outcome may be. Continue to pray fervently and believe in God's power to heal and perform miracles. Ensure there is no other sin in your grandfather's life or yours that also needs to be addresses. John Chapter 5 verse 14 says, "Behold, you are made well. Don't sin any more, so that nothing worse happens to you." It is possible accidents or major problems are the result of sin in a related area.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up the grandfather to You. We pray for a miraculous healing, and we ask that Your will be done in his life. We thank Jesus Christ that you have authority over all diseases and ailments, and that you're able to do what man has said cannot be done. We trust in Your power and Your goodness, and we ask for Your healing touch upon him. Please Lord God grant us the miracle asked for in Jesus. We pray and agree with the spoken, "Amen" In Jesus' name.
Encourage your and your grandfather's faith by reading stories of Jesus' miracles in the Gospels. Remember, Jesus said, "According to your faith be it done to you" (Matthew 9:29 WEB). Stand firm in your faith, and trust in God's unfailing love. Pray without ceasing and do not forget the saved relatives and friends that are alive in Christ that have died before us. They are all praying for each saint left on earth. Read specifically Ephesians Chapter 2 and Ephesians Chapter 3 and you will know this to be true. We are here with you in prayer and support.
