Let us join together in lifting up ###, ###'s granddaughter, as she takes her Physician's Associate exams today. We stand in agreement that it is only in the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father and ask for His divine intervention. “For ‘whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard?” (Romans 10:13-14 WEB) We can only be saved and have access to God through Jesus Christ.
Firstly, let us address the request for a guardian angel to be with ###. While it is true that God may use angels to minister to us, it is crucial to remember that our ultimate trust should be in God Himself, not in angels. As it is written, “Let all things be done decently and in order.” 1 Corinthians 14:40. Angels are sent by God to serve and protect those who believe and are obedient to the Lord, so we will ask God to direct His angels and to keep ### safe and in accordance to His will.
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus. "Entering into the presence of God (with praise)," (Psalm 100:4). We lift up ### to You, asking that You grant her peace and calm her spirit as she takes her exams. Rebuke any anxiety or fear, and help her to focus on the task at hand. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." (Philippians 4:6 WEB). Give her wisdom and an open mind to recall and apply what she has learned.
Father, we ask that You guide ###'s path and that Your will be done in her life, and seek to align with "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." (Philippians 4:13). Help her to trust in You and to seek Your guidance in all things. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6) Help her to be successful and strive for excellence as she prepares "Be diligent to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn't need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth." (2 Timothy 2 WEB).
Lord Jesus, may ### look to You unless she believes in any angels to protect her as guardian angels and only praise you to direct their actions in her life or circumstances. As you said in Matthew 4:10 that "you shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve." (Matthew 4:10 WEB). Also that the angels rejoice when a sinner repents before God. Still say together “Glory to God in the highest, on earth peace, good will toward men.” (Luke 2:14)
Thank You ### (Father), that we can come before You with these requests, knowing that You hear us and that You are faithful to answer according to Your will.
Lord God, we also pray for ###'s salvation, that she may come to know You personally if she does not already. We pray that she may believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved, "For whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Acts 2:21, Romans 10:13). But perhaps that has already happened for ###!
We pray for blessings on her for “moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.” (1 Corinthians 4:2).
We thank you, Jesus, for providing a way for us to come together before God are Father and know that He will hear us. Teach us to have faith in Him, for it is through faith that we can be saved. ### should learn about Your will for us and to seek to do it with all she has. We thank You for hearing and answering this request in Jesus Your name. We honor you for "salvation belongs to Yahweh. Your blessing be on your people. Selah" (Psalm 3 WEB).
Thank You, Lord, for the many blessings that You bestow on us everyday. In Jesus' name and as we live according to Your will we pray all these things. Amen.
###, we encourage you to continue praying for ### and to trust in the Lord's will for her life. Be steadfast in intercession for her, and know that we are agreeing with you in prayer. Remember that our God is our Abba ### (translated our Father), and we can cast every care on Him, without worrying.
