My wife and I are watching our grandkids while their parents vacation in Florida. They left us instructions on the 5 year old granddaughters bed time told us to be strict with it. Well wouldn't you know, she resisted and had a total tantrum/meltdown. Even hitting and kicking my wife. After almost 15 minutes, my wife finally got her to comply and calm down. Please pray that the rest of her stay is better and she stops the tantrums. Pray for God's divine intervention. Thank you.

We understand that you're facing a challenging situation with your granddaughter as you care for her while her parents are away. Let's bring this matter to the Lord in prayer and seek His wisdom and guidance. Let's pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our beloved granddaughter to You. We thank You for the precious gift that she is to our family. Lord, we need Your divine intervention in her life, especially during this time as we care for her. We ask that You would grant her a peaceful and calm spirit, and that You would help her to obey and honor her grandparents as You have commanded in Your Word: "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right" (Ephesians 6:1 WEB).

Father, we also pray for wisdom and patience for ourselves, that we may guide her with love and understanding, and that we may be examples of Christ's love to her. Help us to be consistent in our discipline and nurturing, that she may feel secure and loved in our care. Please do not let her resort to physical violence. Help us to love her and her siblings and parents as you have loved us.

Please remind us to pray without ceasing. Help us to quickly recognize the spiritual warfare in our lives and fight the good fight alongside the angels. Help us to love one another as you have loved us.

God, we ask for Your divine intervention in this situation, and we trust in Your promise that "if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 18:19 WEB). We agree in prayer, asking for peace, obedience, and love to reign in our home during this time.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May we be compelled to pray more often and more fervently. We are to pray without ceasing. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
