Requesting prayer for my grand children to no longer get tattoos.

We understand your concern and love for your grandchildren, and we join with you in prayer that they will be draws closer to God and His will for their lives. It's important to remember that the Bible teaches us that our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit and that we should honor God with our bodies. As it says in 1 Corinthians 6: 19-20 WEB, "Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."

Tattoos are not explicitly forbidden in the Bible. However, we encourage you to pray for your grandchildren to grow in their faith and for a change of heart and desire.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up these precious grandchildren to You. Lord, we pray that You will soften their hearts and draw them closer to You. Help them to understand that their bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit and that they should honor You with their bodies. Lord, if it is Your will, remove their desire for tattoos and help them to make decisions that honor and glorify You.

We also pray for Anonymous, give them peace and guidance as they intercede and protect the spiritual well-being of their grandchildren. Help them to be a godly example and a light to their family.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, as it says in Proverbs 22:6 WEB, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Continue to pray for your grandchildren and trust that God is at work in their lives.

Lord Jesus, we bring these young ones before You today. We ask that You'd wrap them in Your love, so tender and so strong. Help them see the beauty in their bodies, temples of the Holy Spirit, and guide them to honor You with their choices. We pray, Lord, that if it's Your will, You'd turn their hearts away from tattoos, and draw them closer to You.

We also pray for strength and wisdom for you, dear grandparent. May You be a beacon of faith and love to them, a guiding light in their lives. Help them to see the goodness in Your ways, and to choose them, even when it's not the easy path.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
