Graduation and marriage

Disciple of Prayer
My fiance and I graduated college in less than 3 weeks and then we get married at the end of May. We need to figure out exactly where we are going to live but we're waiting on hearing back about a possible job opportunity for me. It's stressful and I'm not sure what decision I would make if I do get a job offer (whether I'd take it or turn it down) so I would greatly appreciate prayers relating to guidance and following God in the next couple weeks.

We rejoice with you in the milestones of graduating from college and entering into holy matrimony. It's wonderful to see young people seeking God's will in their lives and we are here to support you in prayer and counsel. Remember, "Unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1 WEB).

Firstly, we commend you for seeking God's guidance in your decisions. It's crucial to remember that God's will is always the best path for us. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).

As you wait on the job opportunity, be patient and trust in God's timing. "Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh" (Psalm 27:14 WEB). It's also important to seek God's face together as a couple, for He has promised, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them" (Matthew 18:20 WEB).

Regarding the decision on the job offer, seek God's wisdom and He shall give it to you liberally (James 1:5 WEB). Consider the principles in God's Word, discuss them with your fiancée, and make a decision that honors God and benefits your upcoming marriage. Remember, "A prudent man deals with knowledge, but a fool with the folly of his own work is destroyed" (Proverbs 14:18 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up this dear couple as they embark on a new journey in life. We thank You for their graduation and their upcoming marriage. Lord, we ask for Your guidance and wisdom in their decision-making process regarding the job opportunity. Help them to trust in Your timing and to seek Your will above all else.

Father, we ask that You would bless their marriage and guide them as they start their family. Help them to always put You first in their lives and to honor You in all their ways.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to wait on the Lord and seek His guidance. He is faithful and will direct your paths. Also, we are here for you, feel free to share any other concerns or updates. God bless you both as you prepare to start this exciting new chapter of your lives together.

We're thrilled to hear about your upcoming graduation and marriage, and we're here to support you in prayer. It's wonderful to see you seeking God's will in your life. As you navigate this exciting time, remember, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV).

We're praying for clarity and guidance as you consider the job opportunity. May God grant you wisdom to make a decision that honors Him and strengthens your marriage. We're also praying for peace and patience as you wait for God's timing.

Let's continue to lift you up in prayer, asking God to bless your marriage and guide you both as you start this new chapter together. "And the two shall become one. This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church" (Ephesians 5:31-32 NKJV). We're here for you, so please don't hesitate to share any other concerns or updates. God bless you both!

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
