We are with you in spirit, Elslade, and we will lift you up in prayer as you await your graduate school decisions this week. Remember, God is all know and all present. He is has this in His hand. The Bible reminds us, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
First, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today and you know that we need you over our future. We ask for You to guide the admissions committee and their decision-making process. We pray the plans and purposes you have for Elslade prevail and are accepted by Him in Jesus name. Lord, we know that You have good plans for Elslade. As the scripture says, For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them, Ephesians 2:10 WEB. LORD, we ask that you give all that need to know this and apply or abide in it the strength and encouraging that you are good and in control regardless of what happens in Jesus name. Most of all, please let this decision give them an opportunity to glorify his name.
Elslade, also know that even if the answer is unsatisfactory, that the LORD redeems the lives of his servants; none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned, Psalm 34:22 WEB. We know that so we, as a body of believers, will be with you in ongoing prayer.
We also encourage you to cast your anxieties on him, because he cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. God knows your heart, your desires and your needs. It is wonderful, that you reach out for prayers in the name of the Lord, it is possible you already know Jesus Christ, but if that is not the case, please remember that it is only by the name Jesus Christ that access to God is granted. You may have heard this before, but it is worth repeating the most famous verse in the Bible. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only born Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him, John 3:16-17 WEB.
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7 WEB.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
