We understand your desire to enter a PhD program or a graduate school, and we will pray for God's will to be done in your life. However, we want to remind you that God's blessings and His will would be the best requests. It is not clear if you have mentioned your requests in the name of Jesus Christ, who is the only mediator between man and God. Always approach God with His Son Jesus Christ.
"Again I say to you, that if two of you will be agreed on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them." (Matthew 18:19-20 WEB) God wants us to seek His will and not our own desires. May your heart be ready to receive God's will for your life. It is good to have plans but the Lord directs our steps.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)
Please join us in prayer:
Father God, in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ, we come before You, our provider and our Lord. We present before You the desires of Your child. May Your will be done on whether to enter and succeed in the program. If it aligns with Your will, grant success in the admission process and provide the necessary scholarship. We acknowledge that Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts higher than our thoughts. Grant peace and patience as we wait for Your guidance. If it is Your will, set a straight path for Your child to follow, and equip him/her with the necessary strength, wisdom, and resources to pursue this endeavor. We ask this in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
We encourage you to not pray to Mary, angels, or non-living saints since they cannot hear your prayers and there is only one mediator between God and man. Only Jesus Christ can be the mediator and He can interceed with God on your behalf.
"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). "But you, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly." (Matthew 6:6 WEB)
It is good to have goals such as a graduate degree along with a scholarship but do not allow worry or different situations to influence your life negatively. The above verse 1 Timothy 2:5 provides assurance that when we put God first and focus on Him, He takes care of our needs. Education can be for a lifetime but the Lord is responsible for providing for all your needs, just possibly by fulfilling all the desires of your heart.
"But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33 WEB)
