Grad school update

Hi everyone, thank you again for praying for me. So I have had good news in terms of my recommendation letters. So, I asked my boss if he would be able to write me my last two recommendation letters for Iowa and Kentucky University. The downside is that the lab company I work for isn't related to the science field of interest, which is genetics-based. So even though the research goals are different, I still hope the graduate admissions and my prospective advisor would be able to approve of my application and still be impressed with the three recommendation letters I do have. I honestly can't keep relying or trusting my former advisor who is very hard sometimes to get in touch with and she tends to take a lot of time to get things done. I've decided to move forward with someone I do trust and work closely with, so I do hope I get a good letter from him and be done with these two graduate school programs. I am so close but yet so far and anxious at the same time. Thank you for letting me share.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of ###. We thank you for the good news regarding the recommendation letters for the graduate school applications. We praise you for providing an opportunity for ### to ask their boss for the last two recommendation letters.

Lord, we acknowledge that the lab company ### works for is not directly related to their field of interest in genetics. However, we trust in your divine guidance and favor upon their application. We pray that the graduate admissions committee and their prospective advisor would see the value and potential in ###'s application, even with the difference in research goals.

Father, we understand the challenges ### has faced with their former ### advisor. We ask for your wisdom and discernment as they have decided to move forward with someone they trust and work closely with. We pray that this person would write a strong and impactful recommendation letter that will greatly benefit ###'s application.

Lord, we lift up ###'s anxiety and feelings of being so close yet far from their goals. We ask for your peace to guard their heart and mind during this waiting period. Help them to trust in your perfect timing and plan for their future.

We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We believe that you are able to work all things together for ###'s good. May your will be done in their graduate school applications and may they experience your favor and blessings.
