Gracious and Loving Heavenly Father, I am praying to STOP shopping for myself. I don't really need anything. Please help me with this consumption issue. There are people starving and I am buying something for myself...its giving me so much guilt! Free me of this Holy Spirit. Let me buy only what I really really need...Help me give more away and do more for others!!! Help me shed what I don't need! I PRAISE you for the release of this oppression or spirit or whatever it is in Jesus Christ - Yeshua Holy name! Hallelujah for the freedom, I receive the freedom!

"I believe that a person who has this problem based from my experience can’t stop by her or his own effort. The only one who can help is the Lord Jesus. Why? Because there is a spirit behind the person who is doing the manipulation. That spirit will say ” I deserve to buy something because I work very hard.” One day very long time ago, the Holy Spirit told me ”  your shopping exceed more than your giving to the Kingdom of God.” That was a mind blowing to me. I asked the Lord to help me. I redeemed my self by turning it around. Through the Help of the Holy Spirit , he would tell how much to give, which ministries, or the people whom to sow. After years ‘ the Holy Spirit told me ” you exceed more in giving to the kingdom of God than the shopping spree.” That relieved me. Where you focus your money on the right things that is where your treasure is. Without the Help of the Holy Spirit I couldn’t do it because as human being, we tend to limit in giving. But with the instruction of the Holy Spirit how much to give, I was abled to exceed my giving to the kingdom of God. I never thought to be a sower of thousands of money. Never! But with the obedience of the Holy Spirit , anybody can do it. I let go of my pride and I said ” help me Lord to be a giver to your Kingdom.”  Written by Ione Kinzel
