Thank you, Dodekenion, for your prayer request. It is wonderful that you acknowledge the power of God's grace and mercy and understand the importance of praying in Jesus' name.
We are reminded in 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB that Jesus said, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore, let us boast all the more gladly in our weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on us . Also, and in Hebrews 4:16 from the WEB translation, Let us therefore boldly approach the throne of our gracious God, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need.
As you seek to live a life pleasing to God, remember the words of Paul in Romans 6:14 WEB, For sin will not have dominion over you. For you are not under law, but under grace. To be kept from sin, it is essential to walk in the Spirit, as God's Spirit within us convicts of sin, righteousness, and judgment. Filled with the Holy Spirit will truly keep you from sin and fully assist with discerning of the spirits. If you are baptized in the Holy Spirit, then its gifts are for you. If you are not baptized in the Holy Spirit, please pray and ask for it.
Let us pray together:
Almighty Father, we come before You, lifting up Dodekenion in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We ask that You pour out Your abundant grace and mercy upon them. Strengthen them through Your Holy Spirit, that they may resist temptation and walk in Your ways. Help them to discern rightly and live a life holy and acceptable before you. Help them uncover any areas of weakness that would subject them to falling from grace. We are instructed to ask for wisdom and we ask that Dodekenion, by your grace, will ask for it and You will give it and not make them painfully experience the things they should have avoided. In Jesus name, the name above all names, we pray. Amen.
Continue to stand firm in your faith, and remember that God is faithful. He always looks for a way to keep the connection open with each believer and for us to have a way out of any temptation. 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB assures us, No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. And God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
Keep praying and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of our faith. Look for some small group of other Believers that can pray with you each week and encourage and uplift your faith to sainthood.
