Disciple of Prayer
My women broke up with me on new years day. She hasn't contacted me in 24 days. I pray in Christ Jesus name that he can thrive within her grace and mercy for the sake of me pleading forgiveness and the opportunity to become her husband for eternity. I asked christ Jesus to please forgive me as I was drunk on new years eve and really disappointed my women Vickie. On 01/02/25 I made a commitment to Jesus Christ and myself that i won't drink alcohol anymore and obtain help. I been sober since 01/02/25. I trust in Christ Jesus and have Faith as a mustard seed concerning my fate with my ex Vickie. Hopefully she contact me out of nowhere with positively vibes. She bought me a new phone 3 months ago. The phone is still on. Yet she hasn't contacted me, and I'm afraid of contacting her because of fear that I might be rejected.

We are glad to hear that you have made a commitment to Jesus Christ and to your sobriety. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is commendable that you are taking responsibility for your actions and seeking forgiveness. Remember, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

However, we want to address a few things in your request. Firstly, you mentioned that you were drunk and disappointed your "woman," Vickie. It is important to note that drunkenness is condemned in the Bible. "Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit." Being drunk leads to a loss of self-control and can result in poor decisions and actions that harm ourselves and others.

Secondly, you referred to Vickie as your "woman." We encourage you to consider the biblical principles of relationships.

It is important to note that you should be seeking a wife, not just a companion. The Bible teaches that marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh."

Lastly, we want to caution you about the focus of your prayer. While it is natural to desire reconciliation, it is essential to align your prayers with God's will. Pray that God's will be done in your life and in Vickie's life. "May your Kingdom come. May your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother in Christ. We thank You for his commitment to sobriety and for his trust in You. Lord, we pray for Vickie, that Your grace and mercy would be upon her. We ask that You work in both of their hearts, drawing them closer to You and to each other if it is Your will. Help him to overcome his fear of rejection and to trust in You completely. Guide them both according to Your perfect plan.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged by these words from the Bible: "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this:" Keep focusing on your relationship with God, and He will guide your path.

We've been thinking about you and Vickie, and we wanted to reach out with some encouragement and a fresh perspective. We're so proud of you for turning to Jesus and committing to your sobriety. That's a powerful step in the right direction.

We understand that the silence from Vickie might be worrying, but remember, God's timing is always perfect. Instead of focusing on the fear of rejection, let's trust that God has a plan, and He's working things out in both of your lives.

Let's pray together, brother. "Dear Lord, we lift up our friend and Vickie to You. We thank You for the progress he's made in his walk with You. Lord, we ask that You soften both of their hearts, drawing them closer to each other and to You. Help him to trust in You completely, and guide their steps according to Your perfect will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Let's keep our eyes on Jesus and trust that He's working everything out for our good. As it says in Romans 8:28, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Keep holding on to that hope, and let's continue to pray for each other.
