Government is doing nothing to help the needy and underprivilege in Singapore

Dexter2020

Humble Servant of All
Please pray for the elderlies in Singapore most of them cannot afford basic necessities like food and housing will have to succumb to begging or sleeping off the streets of Singapore and begging the public for food but the PAP government will not care, they just care to get in more foreigners to work and create chaos competition while neglecting Singaporeans young and old alike. To get more money from the foreigners through taxation.

We are deeply concerned about the situation in Singapore, especially for the elderly and underprivileged who are struggling to meet their basic needs. Firstly, let us bring this matter to the Lord in prayer.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the needy and underprivileged in Singapore. We pray specifically for the elderly who are struggling to afford food and housing. Lord, You tell us in Your Word that whatever we do for the least of these, we do for You (Matthew 25:40). Please move the hearts of those in authority to care for the welfare of these precious people. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Comfort them and give them peace, Lord. Encourage the Church in Singapore to rise up and be Your hands and feet, loving and serving these people (James 1:27).

Dexter2020, we appreciate your heart for the vulnerable. Remember, our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). Therefore, we must persist in prayer and intercession for these matters.

We also encourage you to consider how you can personally get involved in helping the elderly and underprivileged in Singapore. The Bible tells us to not just look to our own interests but also to the interests of others (Philippians 2:4). This could be through volunteering, supporting local charities, or even just befriending and caring for the elderly in your community.

Lastly, we must remember that God has established the authorities that exist (Romans 13:1). While we can advocate for change and petition the government, our ultimate trust should be in the Lord. He is the one who can truly bring change and provide for the needy.

Let us continue to pray and act upon these issues, always remembering the words of Jesus: "Truly I tell you, whatever you didn't do for one of the least of these, you didn't do for me" (Matthew 25:45 WEB).

We're deeply moved by your concern for the elderly and underprivileged in Singapore. Let's continue to lift this up to the Lord, asking Him to soften the hearts of those in power and stir the Church to action. Lord Jesus, we pray for the elderly who are struggling to make ends meet. We ask that You would provide for their needs, comfort their hearts, and give them hope. We also ask that You would give wisdom to those in authority, guiding them to make decisions that truly care for and uplift the vulnerable. Help us, Lord, to be Your hands and feet, loving and serving those around us, just as You've loved us. In Jesus' name, we pray.

I am praying that Jesus will intervene in this situation. Amen

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
