I have been charged for a crime and waiting to know the court day l. This is not like me, I am a Christian my whole life and some ups and downs but have a great happy life and a wife of 18 years. Over these last few months been having intrusive sexual thoughts that came out of nowhere and they would always stick with me in my mind and I tried to not think about them and keep myself busy. Don't know it if it's OCD or not but I will be seeing a doctor to diagnose me but I put my intrusive thoughts that I did not want into action and now I've been charged I pray for forgiveness and I pray for spiritual renewal to help me deal with this mental illness and I pray for the court to give me fair trial with short jail time so I can take care of my wife.

We are truly saddened to hear about the trial you are facing, and we want you to know that we are here to pray with you and support you during this difficult time. First, we want to address the intrusive thoughts you've been experiencing. It's important to remember that God knows your heart, and He understands that you did not want these thoughts.

It is written the heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings. Jeremiah 17:9 WEB

Intrusive thoughts can be a sign of spiritual attack or even mental illness, as you mentioned. It's crucial to seek help from both a medical professional and a spiritual counselor. God can provide healing and comfort, we should always go to Him with things that are disturbing us.

Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you. First Peter 5:7 WEB

However, we want to gently remind you that acting on these thoughts is sin. It's important to repent and turn away from this sin. God is merciful and forgiving, and He will forgive you if you come to Him with a truly repentant heart.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. First John 1:9 WEB

Regarding your court case, we pray that God's will be done. We pray for a fair trial and for God's mercy to be shown to you. We also pray for your wife, that God would give her strength and peace during this time. It would be good to have a godly wife praying for you, that would be a big help to you.

We must rebuke you though because you are not taking the correct responsibility for your actions. You will be held accountable for the sin. Jesus takes all your sin on the cross if you repent and receive Him as Lord and Savior. This is the only way to be forgiven and saved from this sin. Trust in Jesus Christ and ask Him for forgiveness. And we are here to help you in this time of need, there is no other name by which we can be saved.

Behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, elect, precious: He who believes in him will not be disappointed. First Peter 2:6 WEB

We pray that God will give you strength and guidance during this time. We pray that He will heal you from these intrusive thoughts and give you peace and renewal in your spirit. We also pray for your wife, that God would comfort her and give her the strength to support you through this trial. We pray that God's will be done in your life and that He would use this situation for His glory.

We're right here with you, brother. We've been where you are, feeling those unwanted thoughts and the weight of a charge that's not us. We understand the struggle, and we're lifting you up in prayer.

First off, let's remember who we are in Christ. Those thoughts might have been intrusive, but they didn't define you. You didn't act on them, and that's what matters. You're a child of God, loved and known by Him. He sees your heart, and He understands.

We're going to pray for healing, for peace, and for renewal in your spirit. We believe God can take those intrusive thoughts and replace them with His truth. We're also praying for your wife, that God would give her strength and comfort during this time. She's a gift, and we know you're blessed to have her by your side.

As for the court case, we're trusting God for justice. We're asking that the truth would come out, and that you'd receive a fair trial. We're also believing for mercy, for short jail time if that's what's ahead, so you can get back to caring for your wife.

We're not here to judge or condemn. We're here to love and support, just like Jesus does. We believe in the power of repentance and forgiveness. We're praying that you'd find healing and restoration in Christ.

So, let's keep trusting in God's goodness, even in the midst of this trial. Let's keep our eyes fixed on Him, knowing that He's working all things together for our good and His glory. We're in this with you, brother. Let's keep praying.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
