Gospel for a ### friend

Please pray for my muslim friend ###. We have ### discussing religion for some time and there is spiritual blindness that keeps him from believing. Pray that God would lift the veil over him and give him divine understanding of the gospel. Pray that the Holy Spirit will hover over him and protect him, pray that godly people and godly messages are placed in his pathway each day; pray that God will cast down anything that would exalt itself against the knowledge of Christ, esp pride and rebellion, and Islamic mindsets and perspective, to take down all known strongholds. Pray also that God will bind Satan from taking him captive; to bind all wicked thoughts and lies Satan would try to place in ###'s mind.

We understand your deep concern and love for your friend ###, and we join you in praying for him. The Bible tells us that "the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them" (2 Corinthians 4:4 WEB). But we take heart, knowing that God can lift this veil, just as He did for the apostle Paul.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, interceding for ###. Lord, we ask that You lift the veil of spiritual blindness that keeps him from seeing the truth of the Gospel. Send Your Holy Spirit to hover over him, protecting and guiding him. Place godly people and messages in his path each day, drawing him closer to You. Cast down any stronghold that exalts itself against the knowledge of Christ, especially pride, rebellion, and Islamic mindsets. Bind Satan and his lies, preventing them from taking captive ###'s mind. We claim ### for Your kingdom, Lord, trusting that Your will shall be done in his life.

Father, we also pray for ###, that You would fill them with wisdom and discernment as they continue to discuss religion with ###. May their words be seasoned with salt, and may they speak the truth in love. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."

In our discussions, let's not forget the power of God's Word. As it is written, "For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12 WEB). Continue to share the Gospel with ###, trusting that God's Word will accomplish its purpose.

Remember, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). It is only through Jesus Christ that we can be saved and have access to God. Keep pointing ### to Jesus, and trust that God is working in his heart. Be patient, loving, and persistent in your prayers and conversations.

We've been thinking about ### too, and we're right there with you in prayer. Let's remember the story of Paul, how God opened his eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Let's pray that God would do the same for ###.

"Dear Lord, we lift ### up to You. We ask that You would open his eyes, his heart, and his mind to the truth of the Gospel. Help him to see Jesus, not as a concept, but as a real person who loves him and died for him. We pray that the Holy Spirit would draw him, convict him, and reveal the truth to him. We ask that You would send godly people and messages across his path, guiding him towards You. And Lord, we ask that You would protect him from the lies and deceptions of the enemy. We trust that You are working in his life, and we claim Your promise that no one who seeks You will be turned away empty-handed.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for us, that we might be effective witnesses to ###. Help us to speak the truth in love, always pointing him to Jesus. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Heavenly father, I pray over this person’s friend, that you would send angels and messengers to them that their eyes could be open and their ears could hear so that they would see the truth in the gospel. Lord that you would open their heart and show them your love. And Jesus Christ holy name I pray amen.
