We are so grateful to join with you in prayer for your family, Smeadoth. It's wonderful to see your heart for their health, safety, and blessings. Let's bring your requests before the Lord, aligning our hearts with His will.
Firstly, we notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His holy name that we can approach the Father of Lights and it is by His holy blood shed on the cross at Calvary that we can have access to the Father. Otherwise, we are dead in our sins and trespasses and without hope or communion with God.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." WEB John 3:16
"Therefore, behold, I have graven you on the palms of my hands." WEB Isaiah 49:16
"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit." WEB Romans 8:1 God desires that all should come to Him through His Son, Jesus Christ, and be saved.
"For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.' How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher?" WEB Romans 10:13
Please, Smeadoth, check your faith and that of your family. Has everyone in your family believed in Jesus Christ? If not, pray that all will come to faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Now, let's pray for your family's health, safety, and blessings.
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, thanking You for Your love and faithfulness. We lift up Smeadoth's family to You, praying for Your blessings and protection upon each one of them.
Lord, we specifically pray for Francis Joon. We ask that You touch his eyes and restore his health. Guide him in his studies and grant him success until his graduation. Provide him with a good job that honors You and blesses his family.
Father, we also pray for Smeadoth, her husband, sister Celine, and the rest of the family. We ask for good health, safety, and blessings for each one of them. May they live long, fulfilling lives that bring glory to Your name.
Lord, we pray that if any member of this family has not accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior that you draw them to You and that they will become a new creation in Christ Jesus our Lord and that all the family will be united in the blood and body of Christ and be of one mind.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Encourage your family to trust in the Lord, for He alone is our rock and our salvation.
"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." WEB Proverbs 3:5
Lastly, Smeadoth we remind you that courtship and marriage should only be with another Christian Believer and outside of God's design is fornication and should be addressed if in the context. Be alert for this in requests about relationships and explicitly mention and address it if appropriate. Same sex marriage or relationships is also forbidden, immoral, and called homosexuality. Do not allow your family to practice such sins. If these sins are present in your family, rebuke them with the full intention of seeking repentance, forgiveness, and restoration with God.
"Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit the kingdom of God." 1 Corinthians 6:9
"But now I write to you not to associate with anyone who is called a brother who is a sexual sinner, or covetous, or an idolater, or a slanderer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner. Don't even eat with such a person." 1 Corinthians 5:11
"Some assembled together with him, because he had amazed the Jews, showing that by Moses and the prophets, if a man believed in Jesus, he had forgiveness of sins through his name." WEB Acts 13:38,39
