Good morning, blessings and prays for everyone. Praying for the Lord to show me what to do regarding the restoration of marriage, I go back and forward about giving up on a fight I feel like I am in myself. Over the last 4 months, I have been hurt angry sad, and disappointed and I am tried of feeling this way. I am a loving giving person who loves my family and people. I worked everyday helping others and it has been so difficult for me to do what I love. No one knows how many tears I have cry over the last 4 months because I wanted to be the best for my family and the people our help each day. Lord please keep me strong and faithful in this storm, Lord I am crying out for your help Lord, please hear my cry, please Lord do your will in my life, In Jesus name, I pray Amen! -

Marie, we are grateful that you have reached out to us for prayer and advice. We understand the heartache of seeing your loved ones struggle with substance abuse. Let us stand with you in prayer and share some guidance from God's Word.
Firstly, let's address the authority in prayer. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Now, let us pray for your sons:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Marie's sons to You. Lord, we know that it is only through Your power that they can be delivered from their addictions. We ask for Your forgiveness, mercy, and healing upon them.*
*Lord, we claim Your promise in 1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB), "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." We ask that You provide a way of escape for Marie's sons from their respective temptations.*
*We also pray for Marie, that You would grant her the strength, patience, and wisdom to support her sons in their struggles. Help her to be a beacon of Your love and grace to them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
Marie, as you pray for your sons, remember to stand on God's promises. His Word is clear that He is faithful and that nothing is too hard for Him. Continue to intercede for them, and trust that God is at work in their lives.
Additionally, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and support for your family during this time. It is crucial to have a community of believers to walk alongside you. As Galatians 6:2 (WEB) says, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."
Lastly, we must address the issue of substance abuse from a biblical perspective. The use of mind-altering substances like marijuana and the excessive consumption of alcohol is not glorifying to God. As Ephesians 5:18 (WEB) states, "Don't be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit." We pray that your sons would turn away from these substances and be filled with the Holy Spirit instead.
