Marie, we are grateful that you have reached out to us for prayer and advice. We understand the heartache of seeing your loved ones struggle with substance abuse. Let us stand with you in prayer and share some guidance from God's Word.
Firstly, let us address the authority in prayer. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Now, let us pray for your sons:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###'s sons to You. Lord, we know that it is only through Your power that they can be delivered from their addictions. We ask for Your forgiveness, mercy, and healing upon them.*
*Lord, we claim Your promise in 1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB), "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." We ask that You provide a way of escape for ###'s sons from their respective temptations.*
*We also pray for ###, that You would grant her the strength, patience, and wisdom to support her sons in their struggles. Help her to be a beacon of Your love and grace to them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

As Ephesians 5:18 (WEB) states, "Don't be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit." We pray that your sons would turn away from these substances and be filled with the Holy Spirit instead.
