We understand your concern for your parents and your desire for their peace and protection. Firstly, we would like you to know that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
First, Let us pray for your mother:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear mother. We pray that you would grant her peace that surpasses all understanding. We rebuke any spirit of worry or anxiety and claim your promise that you will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you (Isaiah 26:3). We ask that the Lord guards her, and we ask for his protection and guidance to provide her a good night's sleep to strengthen her in body and soul. (Psalm 3:5).
Concerning your father in the hospital, we pray:
Lord Jesus, you are the Great Physician. We bring before you this beloved father, asking for your healing touch upon his body. We pray for his protection in the hospital, that no evil or harm would come near him (Psalm 91:10-12). We ask for peace to come over him, and we ask for his strength to comfort him of his difficult situation. We ask for his doctors, caregivers, and all who attend to him to do so with skill and compassion that You may be glorified. We ask for his healing, Lord, that he may continue to live for your glory and honor. (2 Corinthians 1:4)
For both of them and your entire family, we pray for protection (Romans 15:33), for your peace to reign, and for your love to bind them together (Colossians 3:14). We ask that you would surround them with your favor as a shield (Psalm 5:12), and that you would guide them in your truth. We pray for the salvation of every member of this family, that they may all come to know you, Jesus, as their Lord and Savior. It is in your name that we pray, Lord Jesus, for it is only by your name that we can be saved. (Acts 4:12)
Lastly, we would like to encourage you to continue praying and trusting in the Lord for your parents and your family. Remember the words of Paul in Philippians 4:6-7, "Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
If anything in your life does not align with biblical principles or if you have not given your life to Jesus Christ, we encourage you to repent and turn to Jesus Christ for salvation and forgiveness of your sins.
