We join with you in praying for good sleep, recognizing that rest is a gift from God. The Bible tells us, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows; for so he gives his beloved sleep" (Psalm 127:2 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking you for your love and care for us. We ask that you grant us good sleep, that our bodies may be refreshed and our minds at peace. Help us to cast all our anxieties on you, knowing that you care for us (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Protect us from worries and fears that may disrupt our sleep. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage everyone to meditate on God's promises and to trust in His care. Remember, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB).
As we prepare for sleep, let us also remember to keep our minds stayed on Jesus Christ, for He alone is our salvation and our peace. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). Trust in Him, and He will grant you the rest you need.
