We join with you, Saraha, in praying for good and restful sleep for everyone. The Bible tells us that God grants sleep to those He loves (Psalm 127:2, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones." WEB). We can trust in His care and provision for our rest.
However, we want to gently remind you that while it's wonderful to pray for everyone, the most powerful prayers are those that align with God's will and are prayed in the name of Jesus Christ. You've done well to end your prayer in Jesus' name, as He is our mediator and the way to the Father (John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" WEB).
For those nights when sleep seems elusive due to racing minds or pain, we can take comfort in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), which says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your mercy and grace for everyone struggling to get good sleep. Please quiet our minds, soothe our pains, and help us to rest well in the knowledge that You are in control. Thank You, Lord, for Your love and care for us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, Saraha, to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Trust that He will equip you with the strength and rest you need to face each day.
