We join you, Saraha, in thanking our Heavenly Father for the blessings of rain and the provisions He grants us daily. We are grateful for His steadfast love and care over our lives.
In Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), it is written, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Let us bring our needs and thanksgiving before God, trusting that He hears and answers our prayers.
Concerning the request for good sleep, we pray that God grants each of us the peaceful rest we need. Psalm 127:2 (WEB) reminds us, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones." May God grant us the sleep we need to trust in Him and be refreshed in our bodies and spirits.
We also lift up the situation with the manhunt in Kentucky. We pray for the safety of all those involved and for justice to prevail. In Romans 13:4 (WEB), it is written, "For he is a servant of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid, for he doesn't bear the sword in vain; for he is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to him who does evil." May God guide the authorities in their efforts to apprehend this individual and protect the community from further harm.
We stand with you, Saraha, in Jesus' name, believing that God hears our prayers and will act according to His perfect will. Let us continue to trust in Him and seek His face in all our needs. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
