Natasha, we thank you for reaching out and we stand with you in prayer for good sleep, health, peace, joy, strength, and protection for you and your family. We are glad you acknowledge the importance of these blessings from the presence of the Lord.
Our hearts resonate with your request from Psalm 4:8:
”I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep; For you, Lord, alone make me live in safety.”
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Natasha and her family. We pray that You grant them good and sweet sleep, a sleep of the beloved, as it is said in Jeremiah 31:26. We ask that You bless them with excellent health. As it is written in Psalm 103:2-3:
Do not forget the things that he has done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth, you who are the offspring of Abraham, his servant, and the children of Jacob, his chosen ones. He is the Lord our God. His judgments are in all the earth. O seed of Abraham his servant, you children of Jacob, his chosen ones. He is the Lord our God. His judgments are in all the earth. Sing to the Lord; praise his name!
Proclaim his doings among the peoples.
Surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as noted in Philippians 4:7. Fill their hearts with Your joy, a joy that is made full in Your presence.
Father, we also pray for Your strength to be upon them, that they may be able to overcome any challenges they face. Be a fence around their dwellings both at home and anywhere they are as prayed by David in Psalm 140:
Preserve me, Lord, for in you I take refuge. I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord. Apart from you I have no good thing.” Lord, I have no desire in proud people. I have no delight in going after them. I do not sit in the assembly of the disrespectful. I do not join in with the lawbreakers. I will wash my hands in my innocence, so I will go about your altar, Lord, that I may make the voice of thanksgiving to be heard, and that I may tell of all your wondrous deeds. For I save myself for your house, Lord. I love the habitation of your house, and the place where your glory dwells. Do not take away my soul along with sinners, nor my life with men of bloodshed.
Grant them divine protection as You promised in Psalm 91:11-12:
When you sit down to eat, you can count on my blessing. When you lie down, you’ll sleep well—and wake up early to my rousing applause!
Finally, our heart is burdened to ask you about your relationship with Jesus. It is only by His Name that we are able to come and ask of the Father. If you have not made Him your personal Lord and Savior, we encourage you to take this initial step and watch your life change for the better. As it is written in Romans 10:9 and Acts 4:12:
The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart; that is, the word of faith, which we preach: that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!"
