Snuadoth, we join you in praying for your child's academic success, but let us stand on the promises of God's Word. The scripture tells us, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight, as written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
Firstly, we notice that the request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Let us remember that, for there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, as written in 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household, as written in Acts 16:31 WEB.
We pray that your child will not only achieve good results but also grow in wisdom and in favor with God and people as written in Luke 2:52 WEB. Remember, it is not just about academic achievement, but also about growing in the knowledge and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
As parents we must do our part and not just pray and wait. We are instructed to, Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it, as written in Proverbs 22:6 WEB. We must teach them about our Lord Jesus Christ and instill God's Word in their hearts. Help them develop a strong work ethic and encourage them to do their best.
Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth, as written in 2 Timothy 2:15. This verse applies to all students, reminding us that our ultimate goal is to be approved by God, not just to achieve good grades.
Let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Snuadoth's child to you. We pray that you would grant them understanding and wisdom in their studies. Help them to focus and focus on their work so they may do better. We ask God that you would guide them in the path of righteousness for your name's sake. We pray that you would also raise up godly teachers and mentors who can inspire and encourage them to be better.
We pray not just for academic success, but also for spiritual growth. Reveal yourself to them, Lord, and draw them closer to you. Help them to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and truly believe in him. Help them to know Jesus, and know his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, and be made conformable unto his death, as written in Philippians 3:10.
We ask all these things in Jesus Christ name. Amen.
