We are truly sorrowful to hear about Martin's health condition and we stand with you in prayer, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are encouraged that you have asked for prayer in Jesus name. We are told, Again, I tell you, that if two of you on earth will agree about anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them. (WEB, Matthew 18:19-20) Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. (WEB James 5:13-15).
Let us come together in the name of Jesus and pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Martin who is facing this challenging health situation. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your healing power. As Martin goes for his scan today, we pray for Your peace to surround him and his loved ones, casting out all anxiety and fear. Guide the medical professionals who are caring for him, granting them wisdom and discernment.
We claim Your promise in Romans 8:28, And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to his purpose. (WEB). Lord, grant that the results on Tuesday, December 18th, will be favorable and a testament to Your goodness and mercy. We rebuke and stand against all cancerous attacks on Martins body and pray for God to cause all medical tests to reveal you intervening in Martins body bringing about healing.
In Jesus' name.
This is also a time to reflect on the eternal purposes and healing you want each of us to have. We trust you will bring about healing in Martins body and also save his eternal soul if he has not yet believed by faith in The Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9-10 says, that if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (WEB) Christian, in the meantime, we must diligently pray for each other, so even if something should happen to the body, we shall rejoice in eternal healing God shall bring.
