We join you, Saraha, in thanking our Heavenly Father for the blessing of good neighbors. It is truly a gift to have people like Steve in our lives who are willing to lend a helping hand. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 27:10 WEB, "Do not forsake your friend and your father's friend. Do not go to your brother's house in the day of your disaster. Better is a neighbor who is near than a brother far away."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to thank You for the good neighbors You have placed in our lives. We thank You for Steve and his willingness to help Saraha with the ice on her truck. We pray that You would continue to bless him and his family, and that You would use this gesture of kindness to strengthen the bond between them.
Father, we also pray for Sue and her driveway, that the ice melt would be effective and keep her safe. We ask that You would protect all of our neighbors from any falls or accidents during this cold season.
Help each of us to be a good neighbor, always ready to lend a helping hand and share Your love with others. Help us to be more like Jesus Christ. Remind us that it is by His name that we come to you in confidence.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Saraha, continue to be a light in your neighborhood, showing the love of Christ to those around you. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 22:39 WEB, "The second is like it, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'"
