Good morning! Update: We got a postcard from Joey yesterday and he asked me to give his address to everyone... so his girlfriend wrote him a Christian version of a Dear John letter

I was hoping she would wait till boot camp is over to tell him, but she needed peace for herself to let him go. This is one of the reasons why he couldn't break up with her before boot camp- it was complicated.

she's young and selfish and needy.... I just hope the letter is not too overbearing... she mentioned she sent Bible verses too.. My only hope and prayer is that this doesn't distract him from doing well in his studies in boot camp... and that God allows him to finish strong without worrying about the girl

Yes, Lord, I agree with Abencoada, may Joey be strengthened with power and might, focus on You, The Word, prayer and his General Ordinances and studies, as Matt 18:19 promises it will be granted, in Jesus' Name
