Good morning, Please pray for my daughter she seems to be going thru a depression. She drinks when her emotions get to her. She does not drink everyday just on weekends. She was crying she says she does not know why I told her you need to go to church and remember you have a daughter who you need to take care of. I don't want you drinking and driving it's dangerous. She was at an event on Thursday and lost her keys and other items all because she was drunk now, she lost her girlfriend who will not speak to her. Please pray that she stops the drinking before she gets herself in a jam. She is an officer, and her job is stressful she internal affairs. Thank You Martha
Depression is an attack on the mind. It occurs when you feel a lack of hope. Doctors
say it is anger turned inward. It happens when you feel anger at a boss or loved one and you feel you
can't express it for fear of the loss of love or the loss of a job.
Satan will use this as an opportunity to attack your mind.
Jesus defeated Satan at the cross and took away his tools of evil so he tries to attack your mind by putting
evil thoughts in your mind.
You need to bind the Spirit of Heaviness and all evil spirits out of your mind.
Put on the full Armor of God and pray a hedge of protection around yourself.
The best thing you can do is get up and go do something fun or find some way to help others.
Here are some scriptures You can focus on for your mental health.
Rom.12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
Phil.4:8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
Eph.5:15-16 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
Deuter. 31:8 The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
Psalms 34:17 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.
Isaiah 41:10
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

I will be praying for you to have a sound mind - the mind of Christ from now on.
I will also pray that evil spirits can not attack your mind.

Here are some things to do that will help:
1. Exercise. Move the body...walk or run. 20-30 minutes of outside exercise.
2. What is one thing you enjoyed doing in the past? Find a day and time to spend 10 minutes doing that activity or something similar.
3. Journal...Write down your thoughts so you can get rid of the negative ones..
4. Stay away from negative media, posts, anything that triggers negative emotion.
5. Watch an inspirational movie - there are some great Christian movies out now.
6. Write down scripture or positive affirmations and put them in the bathroom and around house. Read them daily.
7. Do something for someone else. .
