We understand your desire for a godly marriage and we join you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life. We stand on the promise in Psalm 37:4, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."
Firstly, we encourage you to continue to put your trust in the Lord, knowing that His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). It is wonderful that you are seeking a spouse who aligns with God's will and purpose for your life. Remember, as it is written in 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" It is crucial to seek a spouse who shares your faith and commitment to the Lord.
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister who desires a godly marriage. Lord, we ask that You guide her steps, that You prepare her heart, and that You bring her and her future spouse together in Your perfect timing. Grant her the grace and favor she needs, just as Esther found favor in the sight of the king. Help her to grow in Your love and wisdom, and to be a blessing to her future husband, as a wife of noble character (Proverbs 31). We trust in Your will and Your plan for her life. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."
We also encourage you to continue to grow in your relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. It is through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and it is in His name that our prayers are heard (John 16:23). Keep your heart and mind stayed on Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Lastly, we remind you of the words of 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, "Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you." Trust in the Lord, and His will shall come to pass in your life.
