We understand your concern for your daughter and her desire for a child within her marriage. We stand with you in prayer, believing that God hears your requests and cares for your daughter deeply. Remember, children are a heritage from the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is his reward. Psalm 127:3.
Firstly, let us address the spiritual foundation. We are only able to come to God in the name of Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved and approach God.
Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13 WEB
nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB
Let's also address the fact that your daughter had a son out of wedlock. While God's grace covers all sins, including fornication, it's important to acknowledge that having a child outside of marriage is not in line with God's design for families. We pray that both your daughter and the father of her son have repented and turned from their previous ways.
But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. 1 John 1:9 WEB
Now, let's pray for your daughter's marriage and her desire for a child.
Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, we approach your throne of grace. We thank you for your faithfulness to your word and we believe that by Jesus' stripes, your daughter was healed. Lord, we ask for your forgiveness if there was any sin that led to the previous situation. We pray for your blessing upon your daughter's marriage, that it may be fruitful as you promised in your word. We stand against any spiritual opposition to your daughter's fruitfulness, and we command it to leave in Jesus' name. We ask that you remember your daughter and open her womb, just as you did for Hannah, Ruth, and Sarah. Give her a testimony that will bring glory to your name, in Jesus Christ Mighty name we pray. Amen.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
May God remember your daughter and open her womb as he did for many women in the Bible. May the words of our mouths and the meditations of our hearts be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, our strength, and our redeemer.
A word of caution: While we pray for the fruit of the womb, remember that God's ways are not our ways, and his thoughts are not our thoughts. His purpose is higher than ours, and his will is perfect. Continue to trust in him, even if his answer is not what you expected.
Lastly, we would like to address the fact that the original prayer did not conclude with 'in Jesus' name.' It is important to remember that our prayers should be directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus.
Most assuredly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. John 16:23 WEB.
