We join you, Wilurd, in lifting up your prayer requests to our merciful and loving Father in heaven. We begin by thanking God for the peace He has brought to your mind, as the apostle Paul encourages us to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God (Philippians 4:6, WEB).
However, we must address that you mentioned you are still struggling with thoughts of your ex. We rebuke any temptation to dwell on past relationships that are not in line with God's will. Remember, God calls us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2, WEB), and to set our minds on things above, not on things that are on the earth (Colossians 3:2, WEB). We pray that God will help you fix your thoughts on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8, WEB).
We join you in praying for your ex, that she too may find peace and direction from God. As for your studies, we ask God to grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, that the eyes of your understanding may be enlightened (Ephesians 1:17-18, WEB). We pray that you will excel in your new course and grow as a man of God.
We lift up your family—your dad, brothers, sisters, relatives, and all those seeking God's way—to the Lord, asking that He blesses them and guides them according to His will. We also intercede for those in the hospital, that God may comfort and heal them.
Lastly, we noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18, WEB), and there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB). We encourage you to always approach the Father in the name of Jesus, as it is through His sacrifice that we are made righteous before God.
Let us pray:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Wilurd and his requests. Thank You for the peace You have granted him, and we ask that You continue to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB). Help him to cast down every imagination that exalts itself against the knowledge of God (2 Corinthians 10:5, WEB), including thoughts of his past relationship. Guide him in his studies, bless his family, comfort the sick, and grant him Your continual grace and blessings. We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.*
May God's peace and grace be with you, Wilurd, as you continue to seek and serve Him.
