Thank you for reaching out to us with your prayer request for your son, Honor Iyamu. We are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of prayer and the promises of God. In Matthew 18:19 WEB, it is written, "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven." This is a powerful reminder that when we agree in prayer, God hears and answers.
In regards to healing, we also recall the words of James about praying for one another in time of needing healing. James 5:14-15 WEB says, " 14 Is any among you sick? He should call for the elders of the assembly, and they should pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, 15 and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Now, let us pray together for Honor:
"Dear one and only almighty heavenly Father, we come before You today in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Your Son and our Lord and Savior. We lift up Honor Iyamu to You, Lord. We ask that You would have mercy on him and bring healing and restoration to his body and mind.
God, You created Honor in Your image, and You have a unique purpose for his life. We pray that You would help him to focus, that You would give him strength and endurance, and that You would guide his parents and those who care for him, granting them wisdom and discernment and patience. We also pray that you would give Elvis support and encouragement and point him to other Believers that would rally around him and supporting him. at this time. Please surround this family with Your love and peace, and let them feel Your presence in their lives. IJN (In Jesus Name), by which it is only possible to come to God, Amen."
In addition you should remind Honor to look to God for strength in this time with 1 Chronicles 16:11 WEB, " 11 Seek Yahweh and his strength. Seek his face forever more" and use this time to draw closer to God, and consider Hope for Salvation.
Elvis, we encourage you to continue trusting in God and to seek His will for Honor's life and you and the rest of your family's life. Remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. He is faithful you only need to look to him. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. Keep praying praying sternly and without giving up. Luke 18:1 came Jesus Spoke unto them with a parable; to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; Keep on praying and believing in the Lord Jesus Christ. Look to the Bible for comfort and solutions.
