Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our anonymous friend who is struggling with the habit of betting. Lord, we acknowledge that this addiction has brought misery into their life, and we humbly ask for Your intervention and deliverance.
Your Word reminds us in 1 John 5:14-15 that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us. We pray that You would align our friend's desires with Your will, that they may find the strength and determination to break free from this destructive habit. Help them to see the harm it is causing in their life and the lives of those around them.
Lord, we pray for a transformation in their heart and mind. Fill them with a deep conviction to turn away from betting and to seek You wholeheartedly. Grant them the grace to resist temptation and the wisdom to make wise choices in their finances.
We also pray for a support system to surround our friend. May they find encouragement, accountability, and guidance from fellow believers who can walk alongside them on this journey of freedom. Provide them with resources and opportunities to grow in their faith and find fulfillment in You.
Lord, we know that true victory comes through You. We declare in faith that our friend, through the power of Christ, will overcome this addiction and experience the abundant life You have promised. We thank You for the work You are doing in their life, and we trust that You will bring about lasting change.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
