Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of our anonymous friend who is learning to set boundaries in their life. We thank you for the courage and desire to establish healthy boundaries, even though it may feel uncomfortable and bring about feelings of guilt. We ask for your guidance and strength as they navigate this process.
Lord, we pray that you would help our friend clearly communicate what is acceptable and unacceptable to those around them. Give them the wisdom to discern when boundaries need to be set and the courage to enforce them with love and grace. May they find the balance between being firm and compassionate in their interactions.
Father, we also ask that you search our friend's heart and reveal any pride that may be hindering their growth in this area. Humble them, Lord, and help them to surrender any prideful thoughts or attitudes. Fill their heart with humility and a desire to honor you in all they do.
We pray that as our friend sets boundaries and addresses any pride in their heart, they would experience your peace and freedom. May they find strength in knowing that they are honoring you and taking care of themselves in a healthy way.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
