Let us come together and lift up this prayer request from Arrbthal and the relationship between the mother, Durga, and the unidentified father and their family of Arrbthal and Arrbthal's son. We will address the issues and pray for God's will in their lives. We will begin by addressing the health, education, and financial concerns mentioned.
Firstly, let us remember that God cares for our physical health and well-being. It is important to pray for healing and good health, but we should also remember that our spiritual health is of even greater importance. As it is written in Matthew 10:28, WEB: "Do not be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna." We pray for Arrbthal's son, that God would grant him good health, both physically and spiritually.
Regarding education, we encourage Arrbthal and his son to seek God's wisdom above all else. Proverbs 4:7 says, "The beginning of wisdom is: get wisdom. Get understanding with all of your getting." We pray that Arrbthal's son would grow in wisdom and understanding, and that he would excel in his studies while keeping his focus on God.
As for Durga's request for a good job and financial stability, we remember that God is our provider. Matthew 6:31-33 says, "Therefore do not be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." We pray that Durga would find work that allows her to support her family while serving God.
However, we would like to address a concern about marriage related to Arrbthal's request. While Arrbthal mentions 'ma' which we presume is short for 'mom' or 'mother', there is no mention of a spouse or father. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as outlined in the Bible. When appropriate, we will pray for godly spouses and marriages that honor God. We encourage Arrbthal to pursue relationships that align with biblical principles, and to seek a godly spouse if he is not already married. If there is a forgotten, unknown, or divorced father of the son, we will pray that they would come together in marriage and as a family in a way that honors God.
Finally, we notice that Arrbthal's request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 says "There is salvation in none other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We encourage Arrbthal to put his faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Arrbthal, Durga, and their family before Your throne of grace. We pray for Arrbthal's son, that You would grant him good health, both physically and spiritually, and that he would grow in wisdom and understanding. We ask that You would provide for Durga's financial needs and grant her a job that allows her to support her family while serving You. We pray this would be able to be work from home as asked. We also pray that Arrbthal would put his faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, and that he would seek a godly spouse if he is not already married and that he and his family would follow how You want their lives to be.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
