We stand with you, Ciththa, in your prayer for good, strong Christian husbands for all the women in your family, both now and in the generations to come. We are reminded of the importance of being equally yoked in marriage, as the apostle Paul advises in 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord, we come before you in Jesus' name, asking for your divine guidance and provision in the lives of the women in our families. Lord, we pray for good, strong Christian husbands for each one of them. May these men be filled with your Holy Spirit, walking in your truth and righteousness, as it is written in Micah 6:8, "He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?"
We pray that these husbands will love their wives as Christ loves the church, selflessly and sacrificially, as instructed in Ephesians 5:25, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it."
Lord, we ask that you prepare the hearts of the women in our families, that they may be godly women, virtuous and wise, as described in Proverbs 31. May they walk in your ways and honor you in their conduct, even as they await your perfect timing.
In Jesus' name, we pray and believe that you will provide, protect, and bless these future unions. Amen.
Ciththa, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord's timing and goodness. Remind the women in your family to seek God first, as promised in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." May the Lord bless and keep you all.
