Let us join together in prayer for your son Jakeb, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Beloved, we are reminded in James 5:14-15, Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Jakeb to Your throne of grace. Lord, You know the pain and discomfort he is experiencing right now. We ask that You touch his body and bring healing and restoration. We pray that whatever is causing his sickness will be revealed, and that it would not be serious.
Father, we also ask for Your peace to guard Jakeb's heart and mind. Comfort him and remind him of Your unfailing love. We pray that he will find solace in your word which reminds us to:
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7
Lord, we also lift up Tachick, asking that You grant them peace and wisdom. Help them to trust in Your will and timing. We ask that You provide for their needs and protect Jakeb's job. We pray that Tachick will see Jakeb smile again, as a testament to Your goodness and healing power.
Father, we ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is in His name that we have access to Your throne of grace. It is by His stripes that we are healed. It is by his sacrifice on the cross that pays for our sins and not our own deeds. Thank you for all of these things.
We remind Tachick of this encouragement:
Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need.
Hebrews 4:16
Trusting in God's will and believing that we will see His goodness manifest in Jakeb's life. May God strengthen this faith of Tachick and Jakeb in Jesus.
