We understand that you're struggling with sleep and seeking God's protection and guidance. We're here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name in your request. It's only through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In times of trouble, we can always turn to God for comfort and rest. Psalm 4:8 WEB says:
"I will lay me down and sleep in peace; for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety."
Sleep is a gift from God, and He wants us to rest in His peace. If anxieties keep you awake, remember the words of Philippians 4:6-7 WEB:
"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus to lift up our fellow believer who is struggling with sleep. We ask for Your divine intervention, that You would grant peaceful nights and calm any anxieties. Protect and guide us, Lord, and reveal Your perfect will to us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
If there's anything specific that's causing you anxiety or restlessness, feel free to share so we can provide more targeted prayer and advice. Remember, God is always with you, and He cares for your needs. Trust in Him, and He will see you through.
Lastly, we must know that Jesus Christ died so we could have abundant life and the Holy Spirit to comfort us and be a down payment on our inheritance:
*In Him we have redemption through His blood and the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace which He lavished on us. In all wisdom and insight He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His kind intention which He purposed in Him with a view to an administration suitable to the fullness of the times, that is, the summing up of all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things on the earth. In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will, to the end that we who were the first to hope in Christ would be to the praise of His glory. In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of the promise, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.*
