We understand your concern, Elodie, and we want to assure you that God cares about even the smallest details of our lives. He is a good Father who wants to provide for our needs.
We are reminded in Matthew 7:7-8 WEB: Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.
Let us pray: Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Elodie's situation. We ask that You guide her to the right handyman for the tasks at her mother's home. We pray for someone skilled, honest, and reasonable in their fees. We rebuke any spirit of greed or dishonesty that may be preventing her from finding the right help. We trust in Your provision and Your goodness, Lord. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen
We encourage you, Elodie, to keep trusting God and to keep seeking. Be wise and discerning in your interactions with potential handymen. Remember, God can provide the right person at the right time. Be patient, but also be proactive in your search.
Be wise when looking for the handyman. Make sure they are a Christian believer, are competent, and have good references. Sometimes it is worth waiting and paying a little extra for someone who is known to be trusted. Also be sure to do background checks and check references.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of tithing and giving. As we give, God promises to pour out blessings that we will not have room enough to receive. This does not mean we give to get, but rather we give as an act of worship and obedience and we are blessed by God as a result. God also wants to ensure that the blessings are able to be received, so make sure you are not blocked by anything.
So be careful that you do not allow greed, doubt, worry, or some other sin to block your blessings and prevent you from receiving what God has for you. It is only by the name of Jesus that we are able to receive anything from God. There is no other name by which we are saved.
